Overview

The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Sr Manager of Fleet operations in overseeing the comprehensive management of the company's transportation assets, including buses and company cars. This role involves ensuring compliance with licensing and registration requirements across federal, state, and local jurisdictions, as well as providing support to garage operations and personnel. The Fleet Coordinator  serves as a central point of contact for various stakeholders, managing circulation processes, and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the fleet.

Responsibilities

  1. Licensing and Registration Management:

   - Secure and maintain licensing for all buses, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

   - Manage titling, reregistering, and documentation for buses across multiple jurisdictions.

   - Maintain comprehensive files and records related to licensing and registration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  1. Circulation Support and Training:

   - Provide guidance and support to garage personnel in understanding and managing circulations effectively.

   - Oversee the team responsible for entering circulation data accurately and efficiently.

   - Support garage pools, including garage, operations, and field employees, in understanding and assigning circulations.

  1. Fleet Management System Training and Support:

   - Train garage personnel on the Fleet Management System, ensuring proficiency in system utilization.

   - Provide ongoing support to all garages to ensure smooth operation of the Fleet Management System.

   - Monitor circulation pool balances and make necessary adjustments to optimize resource allocation.

  1. Administrative Duties and Vendor Management:

   - Oversee administrative tasks related to fleet operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's Degree preferred

- Excellent organizational skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in using relevant software applications and tools, including Fleet Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also functioning effectively as part of a team.

- Commitment to upholding high standards of professionalism, ethics, and safety in all aspects of the role.

Compensation Range

USD $48,200.00 - USD $68,700.00 /Yr.
